John Grigsby amuses and irritates people near him by rhythmically banging on things. Over the last 16 years, he has done so in the contexts of big band jazz, tribal opera, modern minimalism, punk rock, fire performance, and on general principles. He remains on the Burning Man Drummers Collective "Music for the Playa" (self-released, 1995, distributed by Charnel House) and RMI "Mind/Body" (Atomic Novelties,1992).
